ARROWFORM has released a ceiling insulator made from lightweight high-temperature fire resistant polymer, said to prevent ceiling fires, prevent entry of dust and insects, provide indoor sound insulation, and prevent and bridge gaps in the ceiling.
The Isolite Guard can be attached or anchored to ceilings by installing them to existing or new 12-volt downlights. According to the company, the product is manufactured according to standards and is properly tested and approved, and is easy to install.
The insulator is sealed, guarded and thermally efficient, and is claimed to provide energy savings. The manufacturer claims it brings down temperatures up to 300 degrees Celcius, and encloses flammable materials in the ceiling with fire resistant barriers.
The Isolite Guard stops substantial cooling and heating loss in living areas. The unit can be installed with an optional fully ventilated transformer isolator.
