INLINE Systems has released a German-made flexible fibre optic endoscope in Australia, suited for inspection of systems where oil and fuel is abundant.
The HEINE SFT4-720 Flex and Twist 4 is a two millimetre endoscope with rotating probes. It is oil and fuel-resistant, and waterproof.
According to the distributors, the instrument does not generate heat at its tip, reducing the chances of inadvertently causing a conflagration. It is portable, with an integrated xenon halogen or LED illumination.
Optional attachable accessories include side-view adaptors of 90 and 110 degrees.
