FANQUIP says its electric industrial heater fans are a safer alternative to the gas powered heaters traditionally used in manufacturing and mining.

According to Fanquip, its electrical heating systems can be safely operated in flammable and noxious-free areas.

In industrial applications such as robotic or human welding lines, the electric heaters are being implemented to provide for a range of goals, from stabilisation of atmosphere-sensitive product to provision of employee comforts.

Fanquip says growing numbers of sensitive electronic and electrical equipment manufacturers are now turning toward electric heater fans because they need a specific bracket of operating temperatures.

Fanquip claims that unlike gas fired systems, its electric powered units will not leak poisonous and flammable fuel near welding sparks, flame environments, high impact and friction operations, or in areas where a lot of personnel are around.

Additionally, Fanquip says its fan heaters operate at a very low noise level compared to gas or diesel powered heaters. The heater fans range in element power from the 3.0kW unit generating 10,800kJ of heat through to a 36.0kW unit with 129,600 heat energy output.
