TECHNICAL Projects has released the Sanitor rotating tank cleaning head, which combines economical flow rates and powerful cleaning jets.
According to Technical Projects, the Sanitor tank washer has bearing-less design with 316L stainless steel construction for hygiene and sanitation.
The elimination of ball bearings is said to increase unit life, while preventing the possibility of contamination from bearing degradation.
Technical Projects says the Sanitor also features a unique pressure regulation and braking system which ensures constant, slow rotation at pressures ranging from 2 to 20 Bar, with flow rates from 24l/min.
The Sanitor’s low jet peripheral velocity allows it to maintain high impingement and longer chemical dwell times for improved cleaning efficiency.
Technical Projects claims the Sanitor is ideal for burst rinsing or prolonged washing of IBCs, storage tanks, transport containers and chemical reactors. The slots in the rotating barrel produce strong impact fan jets that scrub the vessel in a 360º wash pattern.
