APT Group is holding two training events, a Precision Maintenance course, and a Motor Diagnostics workshop.
Both training events will be taught by Bill Kruger from ALL-TEST Pro, who has 39 years of practical field engineering and maintenance experience.
The three-day Motor Diagnostic Workshop will take place in Sydney from 6 to 8 May 2009. Attendees will learn to improve motor system reliability using non-destructive testing methods and procedures.
Kruger will also talk about commissioning new or repaired electric motors, diagnosing winding faults quickly and accurately, identifying rotor health, power quality and drive wellbeing, and trending condition over time.
The Precision Maintenance five-day course will take place in Sydney from 11 to 15 May 2009. Attendees will learn about lowering maintenance costs and maximising machine reliability using “Precision Maintenance” methods and procedures.
The Precision Maintenance course will include actual case histories to teach Root Cause Analysis Techniques. Kruger will also talk about misinterpretation and misapplication of industry standards, which are a major cause of machinery problems.
The course provides the fundamentals necessary implement precision maintenance from both a mechanical and electrical prospective to ensure maximum payback is obtained from equipment.
According to APT Group, the training events are designed for maintenance planners and supervisors, reliability engineers, predictive maintenance, trades and operations personnel.
