PTRONIK has released details of its installation of a pMC dust extraction master controller at a cement factory in NSW.

Ptronik started by installing a pMCt dust extraction controller with a fitted tube cleaner, but the cement factory decided to upgrade to the pMCc controller with data logging when it became available.

According to Ptronik, the dust collector controller pMC can be upgraded with any new features at any stage after installation.

The factory had specialist production requests that require additional sensors to monitor that the production runs smoothly. Ptronik added air flow, header tank pressure, humidity and temperature sensors.

Ptronik claims the client achieved 40% reduction in compressed air consumption within the first two weeks of installation, making significant savings in energy consumption.

The data logging function of the pMC dust collector controller can display the events of the last 12 months, ensuring the plant is running to the optimum level to avoid any production disruptions.
