Multi-talented specialist company acquired
VDM Group will acquire Western Australian-based
BCA Consultants for $5.2m, expanding its portfolio of general and specialist engineering and maintenance services.
BCA provides mechanical, air conditioning, electrical, industrial, safety, security and communications consulting. It also specialises in energy use, auditing, commissioning, and ongoing service maintenance.
According to VDM, this acquisition fits with its business model to become a one-stop design and construction entity, because the group does not have the in-house expertise for those areas.
The group engages in a variety of engineering, planning and management services, from drill blast and rock placement to roofing and panelling.
