Environmental protection and control unit logs events

The unit records history and event logs which are sorted sequentially by time and dateMICROTEKNIX has released an environmental protection and control unit with event and history logging features.

According to the company, the EPC-2374 electronically monitors, records and allows operators to protect plants and equipment against temperature, humidity and dewpoint events.

The unit records history and event logs which are sorted sequentially by time and date. It allows three independent and configurable contact outputs. Each output can be assigned to either a single event or a series of pre-configured events.

The device can be configured using a terminal program on a PC. The terminal interface can also test contacts, allow operators to view history and status reports, metering, data logging and display help.

The unit also has a configurable audible alarm, connectivity for external phone diallers, and a front panel metering display.
