operations. The Arachnipod’s basic design is that of an industrial tripod.FERNO Australia has developed a modular total edge management system (TEMS) with multiple functions, ideal for difficult maintenance operations.
The Arachnipod’s basic design is that of an industrial tripod. It has three telescoping legs connected pivotally to an anodised head. Cutouts in the aluminium head allow multiple heads to connect together.
Each head has a D-shackle for stabilisation. An optional pulley leg with an in-built stainless steel pulley has the ability to take up 13mm rope and 8mm wire cable at the same time.
The Arachnipod can be adjusted into multiple configurations by removing and adding components, allowing the system to be adapted to structural or natural features.
The unit can be constructed into a monopole, bipod, tripod, quadpod, bridge system and handrail recovery monopole. Additional legs can be fitted to increase the safe working load.
