Utility company to upgrade reliability of power facilities

The planned reliability works are part of a $69m five-year improvement strategy to help boost the electrical supply in its network.SP AUSNET says it is investing more than $324,0000 to improve the reliability of power facilities in Mansfield, Mount Buller, Bonnie Doon and Woodfield.
According to the energy utility company, these works will be in addition to regular maintenance of the facilities.
The planned reliability works are part of a $69m five-year improvement strategy to help boost the electrical supply in its network.
Crews will be upgrading overhead powerlines, installing remote control switches and fitting animal proofing to equipment.
