RCR eyes resources industry in SA and Victoria

According to the maintenance engineering company, the workshop will be its base from which it will launch its Off Site Repair process across the resources sector.RCR TOMLINSON has acquired a maintenance service workshop in South Australia, allowing the company to cater to the resources industry in SA and Victoria.
The company bought Davo-Weldtite’s facility, complete with equipment and land for $3.54m.
According to the maintenance engineering company, the workshop will be its base from which it will launch its Off Site Repair process across the resources sector.
It will also be used as a local service centre, providing support for the company’s materials handling and processing products in the states.
The acquisition means RCR’s onsite and offsite crusher maintenance services, currently limited to Queensland and New South Wales, will be made available, as will its rubber lining and belt splicing services.
