Oil checking maintenance conference

According to the company, on-site analysis indicates the condition of lubricants and equipment immediately, allowing fast maintenance decisions to be made.OIL testing laboratory Oilcheck will be holding a two-day conference on maintenance cost savings for the mining and power industry companies.
Condition Monitoring for Mining and Power Generation Industries will be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park, Homebush, on 1 May 2008 to 2 May 2008.
According to the company, the conference comes at a time when oil prices are climbing. It will present and demonstrate onsite oil testing technologies which are said to be simple, quick and easy, with potential savings of tens of thousands of dollars annually.
The conference will also launch the company’s specialised oil testing equipment, and will feature five international experts. Speakers include representatives from Chevron Texaco, Fluitec International, EPT, Siemens, Kleentek and Caltex.
According to the company, on-site analysis indicates the condition of lubricants and equipment immediately, allowing fast maintenance decisions to be made. The conference is targeted at senior maintenance personnel.
