Maintenance software users get more online capabilities
MAINTENANCE Experts says users of its computerised maintenance management software will benefit from increased online interaction and capabilities.
The latest versions of MEX and FleetMEX are written with .NET technology. Since November 2008, all upgrades of software can be downloaded online through a User Portal www.mex.com.au/Users/Login.aspx.
Future upgrades, updates and bug fixes will also be online, allowing quick access in the shortest time possible. The company hopes this will reduce the turnaround time for customer-specific issues, increasing reaction times.
The User Portal can also be used to submit reports. These reports are stored as XML and can be downloaded later.
The user portal is only available to customers who have a paying Maintenance Agreement with MEX.
