Industrial maintenance service relocates to Kurri Kurri

the new premises will allow the international company to bring all parts of its business together to accommodate further growthLAING O’Rourke will be relocating its Hunter Valley main office to a facility in Kurri Kurri.
The new facility will house the company’s plant hire business and its asset management business which provides maintenance services to mining companies.
According to the company, the Hunter Valley was a key region of growth, and the new premises will allow the international company to bring all parts of its business together to accommodate further growth. Kurri Kurri was seen as a good site for a centre of operations as it has good access to major transport routes to Sydney and Brisbane.
The Select plant hire business which provides plants for the company’s rail, infrastructure and building groups, will operate its entire NSW operations from the new offices.
The company is aiming for an early November completion date for the 30,000 square meter facility, and projects around 65 to 70 staff will be working in the offices and workshops on the site.
Laing O’Rourke Services is a provider of industrial maintenance and asset management solutions, offering services such as pre-start up maintenance and operational planning services, ongoing maintenance, operation services, equipment failure analysis and shutdown maintenance planning and execution.
