High capacity ultrasonic cleaner

TOVATECH has released a high capacity ultrasonic cleaning unit for heavy-duty manufacturing and industrial applications, with volumes up to 180 litres.
According to the company, the Elmasonic handles scientific, aerospace, automotive and manufacturing parts. It is used to clean stainless steel, carburettors, fuel injectors and pistons.
The Elmasonic can use three ultrasonic modes. In normal mode, the unit produces a stabilised frequency field which forces the liquid to circulate and mix. This causes mixing, dispersing, emulsifying and dissolving actions.
In sweep mode, frequencies are shifted continuously to cause uniform cavitations throughout the tank. This is most suited to cleaning metal parts. The company recommends using the degas mode prior to sweep, in order to remove gas present in the cleaning liquid, which can suppress cavitations.
The Elmasonic units have multiple frequencies. 25kHz is used to remove coarse particles, 35 and 45kHz remove grease and oils from hard surfaces, while 130kHz is used to gently clean sensitive surfaces.
