SIRF Roundtables (SIRF Rt) is organising the fourth annual Electrical Maintenance and Safety Forum aimed at sharing industrial experiences and knowledge.
The forum will run from 1 September to 2 September 2008 at Novotel Brighton Beach, Sydney.
According to the forum organisers, the event will bring together a range of people involved in managing and maintaining electrical assets in industrial and manufacturing industries.
They hope the forum will inspire attendees to emulate others in implementing the best electrical practices.
Topics to be covered include instrumentation and control calibration and testing, condition monitoring, flash hazards and containment, isolation practices, electrical failure investigations, HV maintenance and servicing and risk analysis.
Organisers expect over 200 attendees at the forum, with representatives from the manufacturing, food and beverage, mineral processing, oil, gas, electricity, mining and processing sectors.
