One colour is set to active by default, and this is switched off when an alternate colour input is switched on.JEMTECH has released stop-go configurations of its light-emitting diode beacons, said to allow more effective signalling in plants and facilities which utilise vehicles.

The new additions allow two colours to be combined into a single layer on the GEMINI LED Tower Lamps. Previously, separate colours had to be used on each layer.

One colour is set to active by default, and this is switched off when an alternate colour input is switched on.

According to the company, this switch method reduces the logic required to change colours. It is also cheaper than a two-colour system, and allows more effective signals to be incorporated into smaller towers.

The red/green variant of the module is a standard off-the-shelf part, although mixtures of red, green, yellow and white colours can be made to order with short lead times.
