HYDROTECH says its Multi-Pulsing Sequence System (MPS) will be installed in a new underground rail station in China. The MPS will be operating in the Huang Hua Gang underground station, which is currently under construction as part of a new metro line, slated to be completed in 2010.The system will cover an area of 1500 square metres of underground concrete structure. When the system is commissioned, the company will undertake performance monitoring over three months. The client will then review the results before deciding whether to proceed with the installation.Although this is not the first installation of the MPS system, this is the company’s first client who will proceed with the system in a “new build” structure, effectively utilising it as a preventive maintenance measure rather than as a reactive remedial solution.
