All-weather version grease gun

The K29C has a two-stage powder coat finish, accepts a 450g cartridge, bulk or J2 pump supply, and comes with a 230mm flexible extension and KY coupler for accessing constrained lubrication pointsMACNAUGHT has released an all-weather version of its pistol-grip manual grease gun which can handle cold weather.

Low temperatures cause grease to thicken, and this puts extra strain on a grease-gun’s working parts.

According to the company, its K29C Flexigun has an improved leak-resistant follower and pumps greases up to NLGI No.2 at 7500psi, dispensing 0.68gm per shot.

The gun allows for single-handed operation and has a short-stroke option to reduce the time taken for general greasing jobs. The short-stroke setting allows the trigger to be returned only partway for the next stroke to begin.

The K29C has a two-stage powder coat finish, accepts a 450g cartridge, bulk or J2 pump supply, and comes with a 230mm flexible extension and KY coupler for accessing constrained lubrication points.

The company claims the unit was developed after farmers from Australia’s cooler regions asked for a grease gun for cold conditions. Although designed for reliability in cold weather, the manufacturer says the gun is also suited for hot conditions.

Applications for the grease gun include the farming, mining, automotive, transport and manufacturing sectors.
